Many people ask about the name, our logo, and the branding. The truth is that it’s abstract. There is no correct answer. It’s what it means to you, and it was designed this way!

The voice of doubt that lies in your head within your inner monologue. The voice of guidance from the universe. The voice of missing a loved one or somebody from your past. The voice of society and all of its construes.

Originally, Voices started out as echoes. An echo is a constant reminder of something that already happened but is no longer here and is no longer real. It can still feel real, it can linger. Sometimes if an echo rings long enough you begin to question like it never even happened.

The letter V is symmetrical, showing an alignment between yourself, your past self, and your future self. The barbed wire or chain links are symbolic of things that may have once tied you down or held you back. The screw is what holds us all together. America was built on screws. The foundation. Some of us are quite literally held together by a screw from a surgery. While others may consider themselves having a few “loose screws” in their head.

Voices is more than a clothing company. It’s an abstract movement to free yourself and express yourself but never forgetting where you came from and what built you. It takes hard work and a deep look at yourself in the mirror to truly realize that we are all more alike than we are different with many of us sharing past experiences and similarities.
